To commemorate Rudy's 20th Anniversary in January 2014, family members, employees and regular customers comment on what Rudy's means to them.

History

Rudy Castrellon and his wife, Rosa, opened Rudy’s Mexican Food on January 1, 1994 with 3 employees and seating for up to 30 people at 6 booths and 3 small tables. Rudy and Rosa had a vision for a family restaurant — both in the atmosphere for the patrons, as well as a place to live and work together with their children and Rudy’s brothers.

A little over a year after opening, the restaurant expanded to add a larger dining room next door (March 7, 1995).

Rudy’s expanded again in May 2006 when they opened the bar and banquet room.

Rudy’s celebrated their 20th Anniversary throughout the month of January in 2014. Celebrations included commemorative t-shirts, pens, shot glasses, special discounts, and more.
